Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ from today has been described by Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra as a wishful electoral Hindu. As soon as the elections will begin, he starts visiting temples.
There is no doubt that Rahul Gandhi is a Hindu. He was born into a Hindu family, his mother is Hindu and he himself has said that he is a Hindu. However, his actions often don’t match his words.
For example, in the recent past, he has been photographed visiting mosques and offering namaz. He has also been photographed with Christian nuns and attending Catholic mass.
So, which is the real Rahul Gandhi? Is he a Hindu who is trying to appeal to other religions, or is he truly secular?
Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure – Rahul Gandhi’s religious beliefs are not as simple as they seem.
