Telangana

Telangana is a state in southern India. The states of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka border it. It is bordered by the states of Maharashtra to the north, Chhattisgarh to the east, Andhra Pradesh to the south, and Karnataka to the west. The capital of Telangana is Hyderabad.

The state of Telangana was created on 2014, after decades of struggle by the people of the region. The state covers an area of 114,840 square kilometers (44,340 square miles).

The economy of Telangana is primarily based on agriculture and industry. The main crops grown in the state are rice, cotton, maize, and jowar. Telangana is also home to a number of large industries, including textiles, pharmaceuticals, and information technology.

Telangana has a rich cultural heritage. The state is home to a number of historical sites, including the Qutb Shahi Tombs and the Charminar. Telangana is also known for its traditional arts, such as embroidery and lacquer work.
