West Bengal

    West Bengal is a state in India located in the eastern part of the country. It is bordered by the countries of Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh. West Bengal is the 13th largest state in India by area and is the 4th most populous state with over 91 million inhabitants. The state capital of West Bengal is Kolkata.

    West Bengal is a culturally and linguistically diverse state. The Bengali language is the official language of the state, however, many other languages are spoken including Hindi, Urdu, and English. The state is home to many different ethnic groups including Bengalis, Muslims, and Adivasis.

    The economy of West Bengal is primarily agricultural. However, the state is also home to a growing industrial sector. The state has a large number of educational institutions and a vibrant cultural scene.
