CM Yogi paid humble tribute to the national poet “Maithilisharan Gupta”.

On the 12th of December CM Yogi, “A humble tribute to the great creator, ‘Rashtrakavi,’ Padma Bhushan’ Maithilisharan Gupta, on his death anniversary, who sanctified the Hindi literary world with the poetry of humanist, nationalist and cultural understanding”.

He said, timeless creations, imbued with national consciousness, are strong conductors of the ‘Nation First’ sentiment.

Maithili Sharan Gupta was a classical national poet. He was a strong pillar of Hindi literature who was patient, sensitive, and rich in unbroken creative power.

He was an inspiration to us all. A true tribute to him would be if we all worked towards making Hindi more powerful.

National Poet Maithilisharan Gupta Ji’s 58th death anniversary is today. He fascinated the country with his poems. He died on this day in 1964, and India lost a great poet. In every line of each of his poems, he is still alive. Maithili Sharan Gupta, born in Jhansi, UP in 1886, was considered to be the main pillar of the vertical dialect.

He has composed more than 40 original poetry texts in nearly 60 years. On the death anniversary of Maithilisharan Gupta, Cm Yogi Adityanath today tweeted his memory.
