DK Shivakumar alleges that Ghulam Nabi Azad didn’t get RS seat so he resigned from Congress.

Ghulam Nabi Azad, a former Congress leader, has resigned from the party, alleging that he was denied a Rajya Sabha seat by the party.

In a letter to Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Azad said that he had been “humiliated and sidelined” by the party.

Azad’s resignation comes after a long-standing feud with another Congress leader, DK Shivakumar.

Shivakumar, who is currently the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president, had earlier said that Azad had not been given a Rajya Sabha seat because he “did not work for the party”.

However, Azad has hit back at Shivakumar, claiming that he was the one who “worked tirelessly” for the Congress party.

Azad’s resignation is a big blow to the Congress party, which is already facing a lot of internal strife.

It remains to be seen how the party will deal with this latest development.
