Two important health initiatives are slated to be inaugurated and dedicated to the nation by the Prime Minister. After Modi inaugurates Amrita Hospital at Faridabad in Haryana, he will travel to Mohal , dedicate the ‘Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre’ to the nation at Mullanpur in New Chandigarh.

The inauguration of Amrita Hospital at Faridabad will boost the availability of modern medical infrastructure in the National Capital Region (NCR).

The Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre is a tertiary care hospital that is equipped with modern facilities to treat all types of cancers.

The Amrita Hospital will provide top-notch healthcare facilities to the people of Faridabad and the entire NCR region.

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and dedicate to the nation two important health initiatives in Haryana and Punjab. After the Prime Minister’s Office released a statement, it was announced that the Prime Minister will inaugurate Amrita Hospital at Faridabad in Haryana and then travel to Mohal to dedicate the ‘Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre’ to the nation. The event is scheduled to take place at Mullanpur in New Chandigarh, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar District in Mohali at around 2:15 PM.

The inauguration of Amrita Hospital at Faridabad will boost the availability of modern medical infrastructure in the National Capital Region (NCR).The super-speciality hospital, managed by Mata Amritanandamayi Math, will be equipped with 2600 beds.The hospital, which is being constructed at an estimated cost of around 6000 crores, will provide state-of-the-art healthcare facilities to the people of Faridabad and the entire NCR region.

The Prime Minister will dedicate the ‘Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre’ to the nation at Mullanpur, New Chandigarh, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar District (Mohali) in an endeavour to provide world-class cancer care to the residents of Punjab and neighbouring states & UTs. Tata Memorial Centre, an aided institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has built the Hospital at a cost of over Rs 660 crore.The cancer hospital is a tertiary care hospital with a 300-bed capacity and is equipped with modern facilities to treat all types of cancers using every available treatment modality, including surgery, radiotherapy, and medical oncology – chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and bone marrow transplant.The 100 bedded hospital in Sangrur will function like a ‘spoke’ of the cancer care and treatment ‘hub’ in the region.
