Indian Navy and Indian Maritime University Forge Technical Collaboration Through MoU Signing Ceremony

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Indian Navy and Indian Maritime University was signed on June 2, 2023, in New Delhi, marking a significant step towards technical collaboration. The MoU outlines the framework for cooperation in various areas such as training, joint research and development, collaborative courses, and the resolution of field-level issues through the involvement of teams from the Centre of Excellence (Marine Engineering) at INS Shivaji, Lonavala, and the Indian Maritime University.

The signing ceremony was attended by Vice Admiral Sandeep Naithani, Chief of Materiel, representing the Indian Navy, and Dr. Malini V Shankar, IAS (Retd), Vice Chancellor of the Indian Maritime University. The agreement reflects the commitment of both entities to foster a strong partnership and enhance the capabilities of the Indian Navy through technical collaboration with the esteemed Indian Maritime University.
