How Coronavirus Causes Cancer

The coronavirus is what causes the respiratory illness called HMPV. It is a common virus that is spread through the air and comes in contact with the mucus membrane of your nose, throat or lungs. The viral particles usually enter your body through a cold or when you are exposed to someone who has been infected.

Coronavirus and the Humans

The coronavirus causes a disease called Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) that has killed about 800 people since 2012. MERS is a coronavirus, which is part of the same family as the common cold and that can infect humans by the droplet route.

Signs of a HCP

A HCP is a coronavirus infection that can cause the lungs, kidneys, or brain to shut down. While it’s not clear how many people are infected, the World Health Organization estimates that up to 4 million people may be infected annually. The signs of a HCP include fever, cough, difficulty breathing, and an inability to sweat or produce tears. People generally display symptoms within 2-6 days of exposure so if you think you have been exposed to a HCP, contact your doctor immediately.

Symptoms of a HCP

A coronavirus is a type of virus that mainly affects the lungs and airways. Other symptoms can include diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fever, chest pain, and shortness of breath. There is no specific treatment or cure for coronavirus infections however there are some antiviral drugs which can help with the symptoms.

Signs of Acute Infection and Recovery

Acute infection with coronavirus is characterized by high fever, coughing, and chest pain. Many people recover without treatment. Others will be in the hospital for a few days before they recover.

Conclusion

Every year, coronaviruses infect millions of people and kill more than 1,000. The most common coronavirus is the SARS virus. However, there are many other types of coronavirus that can cause deadly respiratory disease in travelers. Considering the threats that coronaviruses pose to public health, prevention is always better than cure.
