PM Modi paid tribute on Twitter on the 12th of December, “I pay tribute to Pravrajika Bhaktiprana Mataji. She will always be remembered for her rich efforts to serve society through the Sri Sarada Math and the Ramakrishna Sarada Mission”. I am thinking of all members of the Order and devotees. “Peace be with you.”
Pravrajika Bhaktiprana became a trustee in 1959 and a governing body member in 1960, respectively. Ramakrishna Sarada Mission received Matribhavan from Ramakrishna Mission on November 18, 1961. Pravrajika Bhaktiprana became the secretary of Matribhavan hospital in 2009 and led an exemplary life as a dedicated worker.
On December 20, 1998, she was appointed vice-president of Sri Sarada Math and Ramakrishna Sarada Mission. She became the fourth president of the order on April 2, 2009. Her life, dedicated to a higher cause and loving service to humanity, will continue to inspire generations to come, senior functionaries of Sri Sarada Math said.
Modi said,”Salutations to Prabrajika Bhaktiprana Mataji. He will be forever remembered for his significant contribution to social service through Srisarada Math and Ramakrishna Sarada Mission. My thoughts are with all the members and fans of the Sangh. Om Shanti”
