The 1st “RINL NVIP-2023-National Vendor Engagement Program-2023” will be organized by RINL-Visakhapatnam Steel Plant at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant on 28th January 2023 (Today). This National Vendor Interaction Program will provide a platform for the vendors to interact with the RINL Management and is aimed at fostering long-term business relationships between RINL and vendors.
Around 250 vendors are expected to participate in the Vendor Interaction Program from different parts of the country, in which registered and active vendors of the Materials Management (MM) Department of RINL’s Visakhapatnam Steel Plant are summoned to participate.
Suppliers of refractory materials, oils, chemicals, drugs, ferroalloys, imported and indigenous raw materials, mechanical and electrical goods, etc. It is also likely that they will attend the program.
The following people will be available to interact with vendors: Shri Atul Bhatt, CMD, RINL; Shri DK Mohanty, Director (Commercial); and other directors of RINL, senior officers of the Works division, Purchase, Stores, Marketing, etc.
Officials from various government and non-government institutions, such as banks, the government’s e Market place, the MSME Facilitation Office, the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), District Industries Centre (DIC), the Visakha Autonagar Small Scale Industrialists’ Welfare Association (VASSIWA), the Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI), will also participate in the RINL National Vendor Interaction Program 2023.
Senior officials from the MM department of RINL will make a presentation on the overview of the procurement. The officials of the Government e-Marketplace will present the process and requirements of procurement to the vendors who attend the program.
Presentations will also be made by the MSME-DFO, Visakhapatnam for the benefit of MSMEs to create awareness about the Government initiatives for MSMEs. Many local vendors are expected to attend the program and will benefit from the MSME’s presentation and interaction with officials.
