Lok Sabha member, alleged in an exceedingly statement that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao isn’t celebrating the day because of concern of AIMIM.

Kumar claimed that Rao is insulting those who had sacrificed their lives for liberation by not implementing his promise to celebrate the day officially. The only party that has been fighting for the cause is BJP. Kumar stated that if the party comes to power in Telangana, it will organise an official celebration of the day every year.

He welcomed the move by Union Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy to celebrate ‘Liberation Day’ on behalf of the Centre. For years now, the saffron party has been demanding that the Telangana government officially celebrate the day. The BJP alleges that the TRS government is not doing this out of consideration of vote bank politics.
