Tusshar Kapoor was born on November 20, 1976, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He is the son of veteran Bollywood actor Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan, USA.

Tusshar Kapoor made his acting debut in 2001 with the film "Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai," opposite Kareena Kapoor.

He gained recognition and acclaim for his role as a deaf-mute character in the film "Golmaal: Fun Unlimited" (2006).

The "Golmaal" franchise became one of the most successful comedy franchises in Bollywood, with Kapoor being an integral part of it.

Some of his notable films include "Khakee" (2004), "Shootout at Lokhandwala" (2007), "The Dirty Picture" (2011), and "Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum" (2012).

Tusshar Kapoor ventured into film production under the banner of "Tusshar Entertainment House." He produced films like "Laxmii" (2020) and "Maarrich" (2023), showcasing his multifaceted skills.

Tusshar Kapoor became a single father through surrogacy in 2016. He named his son Laksshya.
