Meghalaya

    Meghalaya is a state in Northeast India. Meghalaya is bounded by the states of Assam to the north and east and Bangladesh to the south and west. The capital of Meghalaya is Shillong.

    Meghalaya is home to a number of tribes, including the Khasi, Jaintia and Garo. English is the official language, but Khasi and Garo are also widely spoken. The state is known for its lush, green landscapes and its scenic waterfalls.

    Meghalaya is a popular destination for adventure seekers, as it offers a number of activities such as trekking, rock climbing and river rafting. The state is also home to a number of national parks and wildlife sanctuaries, which are a haven for nature lovers and birdwatchers.
