On a recent Saturday, the much-anticipated rescue thriller, “Mission Raniganj,” unveiled its first song, “Jalsa 2.0.” This song features the lead pair, Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra, setting the stage on fire with an infectious bhangra performance, creating a vibrant and celebratory atmosphere.
Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra’s Electric Chemistry
“Jalsa 2.0” captures the electrifying chemistry between Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra. Their boundless energy and enthusiasm elevate the song to new heights, making it a strong contender for the title of the Bhangra hit of the year.
In the song’s visuals, Akshay Kumar initiates the bhangra, while Parineeti Chopra stands at a distance, captivated by his moves and eager to join in. Dressed in a dark blue kurta and a turban, Akshay immerses himself in the dance, even adding floor-thumping elements while seated on a charpoy (traditional bed). Parineeti soon joins him, matching her steps to the lively dhol beats. Their chemistry radiates as they dance together, with Parineeti even sitting on the dhol worn by Akshay’s neck, playing along.
The Musical Magic Behind “Jalsa 2.0”
The musical composition for “Jalsa 2.0” is a creation of Prem and Hardeep, accompanied by lyrics penned by Satinder Sartaaj, who lends his powerful vocals to the track. The song’s catchy beats and energetic rhythm make it an instant favorite.
Deepshikha Deshmukh, Producer at Pooja Entertainment, adds, “Jalsa 2.0 is a very special song for all of us. It’s the first song from ‘Mission Raniganj,’ which carries a lot of fun, and Ganesh Master’s choreography will instantly make you get up and dance.”
A Celebratory Moment for the Makers
The release of “Jalsa 2.0” marks a celebratory moment for the creators of “Mission Raniganj.” This film, produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Ajay Kapoor, is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai. It is based on a real-life coal mine accident that shook the nation and the world. The movie portrays the relentless efforts of the rescue team led by Jaswant Singh Gill.
