Gujarat
Gujarat is a state located in western India. It has an area of 196,024 square kilometers (75,685 square miles) and a population of over 60 million. The state is bordered by Rajasthan to the north, Maharashtra to the south, Madhya Pradesh to the east, and the Arabian Sea to the west. Gandhinagar is the capital city while Ahmedabad is the largest city.
The state of Gujarat is home to a number of historical and cultural sites. The most famous of these is the Taj Mahal, which is located in the city of Agra. Other notable sites include the temples at Mandu and the cave temples at Ajanta and Ellora.
Gujarat is also famous for its textiles and handicrafts. The state is home to a number of traditional art forms, such as block printing, embroidery, and hand- painting. Gujarat is also known for its delicious food, which includes a variety of vegetarian dishes.
