India’s Home Minister, Amit Shah, took to social media to extend his heartfelt greetings to people on the auspicious occasion of Prakash Parv of Granth Sahib Ji. In his message, he highlighted the invaluable teachings of Guru Granth Sahib Ji that have the power to guide humanity towards a brighter and more harmonious future.
Amit Shah’s message read, “On the Prakash Parv of Granth Sahib Ji, I extend hearty greetings to everyone. Guru Granth Sahib Ji teaches the world about harmony and dedication towards humanity. These teachings will always guide us towards a better society by encouraging the basic principles of peace and harmony.”
The Prakash Parv, also known as Prakash Utsav, is a significant occasion for the Sikh community, commemorating the first installation of the Guru Granth Sahib Ji, the central religious scripture of Sikhism, in the Golden Temple in Amritsar.
Guru Granth Sahib Ji, often referred to as the eternal Guru by Sikhs, contains the teachings of Sikh Gurus and other spiritual leaders. Its profound verses emphasize unity, equality, compassion, and selfless service to humanity. The scripture’s teachings have transcended boundaries and resonate with people of all backgrounds, promoting peace, harmony, and social justice.
