CM Himanta Biswa Sarma took to social media today to remember and honor the legacy of Shraddheya MS Golwalkar, popularly known as Guruji, on his Jayanti. MS Golwalkar, who served as the second Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), continues to be revered as a stalwart of Hindu nationalism and cultural preservation.
Champion of Hindu Rashtra and Akhand Bharat: MS Golwalkar’s visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to the ideals of Hindu Rashtra and Akhand Bharat have left an indelible mark on the socio-political landscape of India. He was instrumental in articulating the concept of a cultural nation called Hindu Rashtra, which later evolved into the concept of Akhand Bharat, emphasizing the unity of Bharatiyas across the globe.
Author and Influential Thinker: Golwalkar’s intellectual contributions to the Hindu nationalist movement are immense. His seminal work, “We, or Our Nationhood Defined,” laid the groundwork for understanding the essence of Hindu nationalism and cultural identity. Additionally, “Bunch of Thoughts,” a compilation of his speeches, continues to inspire and guide generations of nationalists.
Expanding the Roots of RSS: As the Sarsanghchalak of the RSS, MS Golwalkar demonstrated exceptional administrative skills in expanding the organization’s reach and influence across India. Under his leadership, the RSS played a crucial role in fostering a sense of unity, discipline, and national pride among its members, contributing significantly to the social and cultural fabric of the nation.
