International Mother Language Day: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal underscored the significance of India’s diverse cultural landscape, citing linguistic diversity as a source of strength on International Mother Language Day. Lal emphasized the need for citizens to cherish and propagate their respective mother tongues, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of unity and inclusivity for a shared future.
“On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, we all have to take a pledge to respect and spread our ‘mother tongue’ and make efforts to further strengthen its identity,” stated Lal, highlighting the importance of preserving linguistic heritage.
He emphasized that embracing and celebrating linguistic diversity would be a significant step towards realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “One Earth, One Family, One Future.” Lal’s remarks underscored the role of language in fostering cultural pride, inclusivity, and national unity.
As nations worldwide commemorate International Mother Language Day, Lal’s call for preserving and promoting mother tongues resonates deeply, reaffirming India’s commitment to cultural pluralism and linguistic harmony.
