During the meeting, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami directed officials to expedite the appointment of nodal officers in districts prone to forest fires. In a concerted effort to bolster firefighting capabilities, CM Dhami instructed officials to mobilize community groups such as Mahila Mangal Dal, Yuvak Mangal Dal, self-help groups, and Aapda Mitras. Their involvement, alongside the Revenue Police, is crucial in augmenting the state’s firefighting resources and enhancing the resilience of forested areas against potential fire outbreaks.

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami’s proactive approach and emphasis on collaboration underscore the government’s commitment to ensuring the safety and sustainability of Uttarakhand’s forests.
