The National Security Guard (NSG), also known as the ‘Black Cats,’ is an elite counter-terrorism force of the Indian government. Established in 1984, the NSG has been at the forefront of counter-terrorism and anti-hijacking operations. They are called upon to handle the most critical and high-risk situations, and their commitment to defending the nation is unparalleled.
As the research and development wing of the Indian Ministry of Defence, DRDO acknowledges the invaluable contribution of the NSG in upholding national security. The organization is committed to providing the NSG with cutting-edge technology and equipment to enhance its operational capabilities.
