In a significant step towards enhancing the economic landscape of Uttar Pradesh’s Purvanchal region, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Gyan Dairy Plant in Gida, Gorakhpur. The state-of-the-art dairy facility, constructed at a cost of Rs 114 crore, symbolizes the state government’s commitment to fostering economic growth and providing opportunities to the region’s residents.
Empowering the Region through Employment
One of the primary advantages of the Gyan Dairy Plant’s inauguration is the boost it will provide to employment in the area. CM Yogi Adityanath underscored the significance of this development by explaining that over three hundred individuals would gain direct employment within the plant. Furthermore, more than 1,500 people would become associated with the plant’s ecosystem, creating additional opportunities for residents in the region. The ripple effect extends further, with countless families indirectly benefiting from this flourishing business.
Attracting Investments and Industries to Gida
CM Yogi highlighted the significant transformation taking place in Gida, as the region witnesses a shower of investments and industrial activities. Notable companies, including the rebar manufacturing plant of PepsiCo, are actively establishing their presence in the area. This surge in industrial activity is contributing to the overall development of the state and reflects the positive investment environment that has been created.
From Barren Lands to Prosperity
Reflecting on the remarkable journey of Gida, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recalled how the region had transformed in the past six years. Once considered barren and devoid of opportunities, Gida has now become a hub of industrial and economic development. The drastic improvement in the investment climate and the increased employment opportunities have attracted both domestic and foreign companies to set up their operations in the state.
