BJP National President, JP Nadda, lauds a significant milestone in India’s defence sector, announcing that it has surpassed the remarkable benchmark of Rs 21,000 crores for the first time. This achievement marks an unprecedented growth of 32.5% compared to the previous year, signifying the rapid advancement of the country’s defence capabilities.
Nadda attributes this remarkable progress to the transformative leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He highlights that over the past nine years, under PM Modi’s guidance, India has witnessed tremendous growth in its defence sector. Nadda emphasizes that before this, India could not develop weapons for its own requirements, let alone export them to other nations.
The BJP leader underscores the government’s unwavering commitment to bolstering India’s defence capabilities in alignment with the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ (self-reliant India) initiative. He asserts that PM Modi’s visionary leadership has propelled India’s defence sector onto a trajectory of unprecedented growth and self-sufficiency.
Nadda’s remarks highlight the significant strides made by India in the defence sector, underscoring the nation’s determination to achieve self-reliance and emerge as a global powerhouse in defence manufacturing and innovation.
