Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently conveyed his heartfelt greetings to the people of Kerala on the auspicious occasion of Kerala Piravi. Recognizing the state’s cultural vibrancy and the commendable diligence of its people, PM Modi highlighted the resilience and determination that characterizes Kerala’s heritage.
In his message, PM Modi commended the people of Kerala for their unwavering perseverance and the profound richness of their cultural legacy. “Known for their diligence and the rich tapestry of their cultural heritage, the people of Kerala embody resilience and determination,” stated PM Modi. He further expressed his admiration for the state’s ethos, which stands as a testament to the indomitable spirit of its citizens.
“The Prime Minister’s words encapsulated his deep respect for Kerala’s cultural heritage, acknowledging its historical significance and the spirit of the people. He extended his wishes for the continuous success and prosperity of Kerala, expressing hope that the state will persist in inspiring others with its remarkable achievements”.
“May they always be touched by success and continue to inspire with their accomplishments,” PM Modi concluded, emphasizing his desire for Kerala’s perpetual triumphs and its continued role as an inspiration to the nation.
Kerala Piravi, which translates to “Kerala’s Day of Birth,” commemorates the formation of the state of Kerala on November 1, 1956. The day holds immense cultural and historical significance, celebrating Kerala’s unity and the amalgamation of diverse traditions, languages, and cultures into a single entity.
“Throughout its history, Kerala has been celebrated for its contributions to literature, and arts, and its exceptional societal harmony. The state’s unique cultural tapestry, encompassing dance forms like Kathakali and Mohiniyattam, its vibrant festivals, diverse cuisine, and harmonious coexistence of different religious and ethnic communities, stands as a testament to the richness and diversity of Indian culture”.
