In a heartwarming gesture, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has extended an early Christmas gift to the state’s dedicated workforce, comprising approximately 55,000 government employees. The announcement, made on behalf of the government, not only ensures an early release of December salaries but also includes an approved 3% Dearness Allowance (DA) hike for the employees.
Early Christmas Salaries: A Token of Appreciation
Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma took to social media to convey his holiday wishes and share the good news with the state’s government employees. In his message, he expressed, “Merry Christmas to our team of 55,000 Government Employees! We are pleased to announce that December salaries are being released early.” This thoughtful move acknowledges the hard work and dedication of the government workforce, ensuring they can celebrate the festive season with financial ease.
