In a proactive effort to strengthen women’s safety and enhance the efficiency of the police department, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan flagged off 250 new two-wheelers in a special ceremony held at Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal. The event marked a significant milestone in the government’s mission to equip the police force with modern resources for better law enforcement and safeguarding the citizens of Madhya Pradesh, especially women.
The inauguration of these two-wheelers is particularly aimed at empowering police help desks at women’s police stations. These specialized help desks play a vital role in addressing the concerns and grievances of women in a sensitive and timely manner. By providing the police officers with new two-wheelers, the government aims to enhance their mobility and responsiveness, enabling them to reach out to women in distress more efficiently.
