Kalki Dham Temple – UP: Prime Minister Narendra Modi graced the foundation stone laying ceremony of Shri Kalki Dham Temple in Sambhal district, Uttar Pradesh. The temple, being constructed by Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust under Acharya Pramod Krishnam’s chairmanship, marks a significant step in India’s spiritual landscape.
Addressing the audience, PM Modi expressed gratitude for the opportunity to inaugurate this sacred pilgrimage site, envisioning it as a beacon of spirituality. He extended his best wishes to citizens and pilgrims worldwide, emphasizing the cultural revival embodied by such initiatives.
“Paying homage to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on his Jayanti, the Prime Minister credited him for fostering cultural pride and identity. He highlighted the architectural significance of the temple, which will house ten avatars of the Lord, symbolizing diverse forms of divinity”.
Reflecting on India’s cultural renaissance, PM Modi referenced recent milestones like the consecration of Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and the temple inauguration in Abu Dhabi, underscoring the nation’s spiritual regeneration. He underscored the harmony between spiritual rejuvenation and developmental projects, exemplifying the principle of ‘Preserving Heritage while Pursuing Development.’
PM Modi reiterated the transformative impact of such endeavors, citing examples like Vishwanath Dham in Kashi and the rejuvenation of spiritual centers alongside urban infrastructure development. He urged embracing the present moment of cultural resurgence, echoing his call from the Red Fort.
“Furthermore, the Prime Minister commended Acharya Pramod Krishnam’s efforts towards spiritual upliftment and community service, acknowledging the invaluable guidance of saints present at the ceremony”.
In essence, PM Modi’s presence at the foundation stone laying ceremony of Kalki Dham Temple reflects India’s commitment to preserving its cultural heritage while embarking on a path of holistic development.
