Today, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi marked a significant milestone in India’s spiritual landscape by laying the foundation stone for the Shri Kalki Dham Temple in Sambhal district, Uttar Pradesh. The auspicious occasion witnessed the unveiling of the temple’s model, heralding a new era of devotion and reverence in the heart of the nation.
The temple, under construction by the Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust, led by Chairman Acharya Pramod Krishnam, promises to emerge as a beacon of India’s rich spiritual heritage. Attended by numerous saints, religious leaders, and dignitaries, the event resonated with a sense of sacredness and communal harmony.
Addressing the gathering, Prime Minister Modi expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lay the temple’s foundation stone, envisioning it as a transformative center of India’s spirituality. He emphasized the significance of the land associated with revered figures like Lord Shri Ram and Lord Shri Krishna, underscoring the reinvigorated spirit of devotion and emotion prevailing today.
Reflecting on the long-awaited inauguration of the temple, Prime Minister Modi shared his commitment to fulfilling unfinished tasks with the blessings of the people and saints. He paid homage to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on his Jayanti, attributing today’s cultural revival to the valor and pride epitomized by the legendary king.
Describing the temple’s architectural marvel, the Prime Minister elucidated its ten garbh grihas, each housing an avatar of the Lord, symbolizing the diverse manifestations of divinity. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to this sacred endeavor, acknowledging the guidance of saints and the leadership of Acharya Pramod Krishnam.
Prime Minister Modi highlighted the cultural renaissance sweeping across India, citing recent milestones such as the consecration of the Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and the inauguration of temples worldwide. He emphasized the synergy between spiritual resurgence and developmental initiatives, epitomizing the ethos of ‘Vikas bhi Virasat Bhi’ (Heritage with Development).
Underlining the collective efforts driving India’s progress, the Prime Minister enumerated transformative achievements in housing, sanitation, healthcare, and agriculture. He credited the citizens for their role in realizing the government’s vision of inclusive development, rooted in India’s spiritual ethos of service and compassion.
