Ameen Sayani’s son, Rajil Sayani, confirmed his father’s demise, revealing that he succumbed to a heart attack on Tuesday night in Mumbai. Despite efforts by doctors at HN Reliance Hospital, Sayani could not be revived and was pronounced dead.
As the nation mourns the loss of a beloved radio icon, Ameen Sayani’s funeral is scheduled to take place on Thursday, with family members and relatives gathering to bid farewell to the legendary broadcaster.
