PM Modi Unveils Rs 7300 Crore Development Projects in Jhabua

Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a significant visit to Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh, where he dedicated to the nation and laid foundation stones for a multitude of development projects worth approximately Rs 7300 crores. These initiatives are poised to uplift the lives of the tribal community and enhance the overall infrastructure of the region.

Among the key highlights of the visit was the disbursal of monthly installments of Aahar Anudan to around 2 lakh women beneficiaries under the Aahar Anudan Yojna, ensuring access to nutritious food for especially backward tribes. Additionally, 1.75 lakh adhikar abhilekh (record of rights) were distributed to beneficiaries of the SVAMITVA Scheme, securing their land rights and providing documentary evidence.

Prime Minister Modi also transferred Rs 55.9 crores for 559 villages under the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana, facilitating the construction of essential infrastructure such as Anganwadi Bhawans, Fair Price Shops, Health Centres, and internal roads. Furthermore, he laid the foundation stone for the ‘CM Rise School’ and ‘Tantya Mama Bhil University’, promising modern educational facilities for the youth from tribal-dominated districts.

In a bid to strengthen water supply and provision of drinking water, the Prime Minister inaugurated various projects including the Talavada Project and 14 urban water supply schemes under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0. He also launched the ‘Nal Jal Yojna’ for 50 Gram Panchayats of Jhabua, providing tap water to thousands of households.

The rail and road infrastructure were not overlooked, as Prime Minister Modi inaugurated multiple rail projects and road development initiatives, aimed at improving connectivity and reducing travel time for both passengers and goods. Other projects like waste dumpsite remediation and electric substation were also dedicated during the visit.

Accompanied by dignitaries including the Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Mangubhai C. Patel, and Chief Minister Shri Mohan Yadav, Prime Minister Modi’s visit reaffirmed the government’s commitment to holistic development and inclusive growth in Madhya Pradesh.
