In response to the tragic accident in Kasganj, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced ex-gratia payments to assist the victims and their families. The Prime Minister’s Office stated that Rs. 2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) would be provided to the next of kin of each deceased individual.
The Prime Minister’s Office also affirmed that Rs. 50,000 would be granted to those injured in the mishap. This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden the affected families face and provide support during this difficult time.
The prompt action taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi underscores the government’s commitment to standing by those in distress and providing timely assistance to mitigate their suffering. The ex-gratia payments serve as a gesture of solidarity and compassion towards the victims and their loved ones.
