Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a significant visit to Gujarat on February 24th and 25th, 2024, marking a crucial juncture in the state’s development trajectory. The visit encompasses a series of events aimed at inaugurating, dedicating, and laying the foundation stone for a multitude of transformative projects spanning various sectors.
On the morning of February 25th, Prime Minister Modi will commence his itinerary with a spiritual visit, performing pooja and darshan at the revered Beyt Dwarka temple around 7:45 AM. Following this, at approximately 8:25 AM, he will proceed to visit the Sudarshan Setu, a monumental cable-stayed bridge connecting Okha mainland and Beyt Dwarka island. The Sudarshan Setu, boasting a unique design adorned with verses from the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita and images of Lord Krishna, stands as a testament to engineering prowess and spiritual symbolism.
Subsequently, Prime Minister Modi will grace the Dwarkadhish Temple around 9:30 AM, further emphasizing the spiritual significance intertwined with the developmental agenda of the region.
The pivotal moment of the day arrives at 1 PM when Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to dedicate and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth over Rs. 4150 crore in Dwarka. These projects encompass crucial infrastructural enhancements aimed at fostering economic growth and societal well-being in the region.
Later in the day, around 3:30 PM, the Prime Minister will visit AIIMS Rajkot, underlining the government’s commitment to strengthening tertiary healthcare infrastructure across the nation. This visit is followed by a momentous event at 4:30 PM, where Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate and dedicate to the nation a plethora of development projects worth more than Rs. 48,100 crores at Race Course Ground, Rajkot. These projects span diverse sectors including health, road, rail, energy, petroleum & natural gas, and tourism, among others, underscoring the holistic approach towards inclusive growth and development.
In Dwarka, Prime Minister Modi will unveil the Sudarshan Setu, the longest cable-stayed bridge in the country, which promises to significantly enhance connectivity and pilgrimage experience for devotees. Additionally, he will dedicate various other projects aimed at bolstering infrastructure and promoting tourism in the region.
In Rajkot, the Prime Minister’s presence will mark the inauguration of multiple projects aimed at fortifying healthcare infrastructure, promoting renewable energy, and enhancing connectivity through road and rail networks.
