Today, esteemed playback singer Shri Suresh Wadkar will offer his Raga Seva as a dedication to Lord Shri Ram Lalla Sarkar. The performance will feature soulful renditions of Abhang and Bhajan at the Shri Ram-Rag Seva Janmbhoomi in Ayodhya.
Suresh Ishwar Wadkar, known for his versatility in Hindi and Marathi playback singing, has also lent his voice to songs in Bhojpuri films, Odia albums, and Konkani films, along with bhajans. His contribution to the field of Sugam Sangeet earned him the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2018. Additionally, in recognition of his remarkable achievements, the Government of India bestowed upon him the Padma Shri in 2020.
The event at Shri Ram-Rag Seva Janmbhoomi Ayodhya holds significant cultural and spiritual importance, with Suresh Wadkar’s performance promising to add an aura of divine bliss. Through his mesmerizing Abhang and Bhajan, Wadkar seeks to invoke the presence and blessings of Lord Ram, fostering a deep sense of devotion and reverence among the audience.
