The long-awaited trailer for ‘The Archies’ has finally been unveiled, featuring the debut performances of star kids Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda. With Shahrukh Khan’s daughter, Sridevi’s darling, and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson in the spotlight, the film has garnered significant attention.
A Glimpse of ‘The Archies’:The trailer provides a window into the world of ‘The Archies,’ transporting viewers to the 1960s, a decade filled with romance, friendship, music, and fun. Zoya Akhtar, the director, has crafted a story that captures the essence of this era.
OTT Release:
Opting for a digital release on Netflix instead of a theatrical run, ‘The Archies’ is set to premiere on December 7, 2023, coinciding with the festival of Diwali. It’s an adaptation of the popular American comic book series ‘The Archies.’

The trailer opens with the liberation of Goa from the Portuguese, immediately immersing the audience in the 1960s. The film’s storytelling, costumes, and style stay true to this nostalgic period. The storyline revolves around a group of six friends, exploring teenage romance, camaraderie, and the challenges they face.
Meet the Cast:
Agastya Nanda takes on the role of ‘Archie Andrews,’ while Suhana Khan portrays ‘Veronica’ Loz, a high school sensation. ‘Veronica’s closest companion is ‘Betty Cooper’ (Khushi Kapoor), who harbors affection for ‘Archie.’ Mihir plays ‘Jughead,’ Archie’s best friend. The trailer promises a fantastic cinematic experience.
