The Khelo India Women’s tournament (Track Cycling), is scheduled to take place across 4 Zones.

This is the first time that the Khelo India Women’s tournament will feature Track Cycling. The Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, has sanctioned a total of Rs 1.15 crore for the tournament, scheduled to take place across 4 Zones.

The first phase for the North Zone Amritsar leg will be hosted by SAI NSNIS Patiala. The competition will take place on December 20 and 21 in the cycling velodrome inside the NSNIS campus. The North Zone phases will shift to the Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana on December 23-24 and the Guru Nanak Dev University Campus, Amritsar on December 28-29, respectively.

The first phase of the South Zone will also be held this year with SAI LNIPE Trivandrum hosting it on December 26-27. This tournament, which will take place across the Sprint, Keirin, 500m Individual Time Trial, Individual Pursuit, and Scratch Race, is being organized by the Cycling Federation of India with assistance from the Union Sports Ministry.
