Union Minister Parshottam Rupala Leads ‘Run for Unity’ from Krishi Bhawan

Today, Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Shri Parshottam Rupala, took the lead in flagging off the ‘Run for Unity’ event from the premises of Krishi Bhawan. The event, held on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day), commemorating Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 148th birth anniversary, aimed to pay tribute to his unwavering commitment to the nation’s integrity. Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan, and Dr. L. Murugan, were also in attendance.

During his speech, Shri Parshottam Rupala stressed, “We will always remember and draw inspiration from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s contributions to the nation’s integrity and the dairy cooperative sector.”

Over 150 officials from the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, including the Secretary, of the Department of Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Ms. Alka Upadhyaya, and the Secretary, the Department of Fisheries, Dr. Abhilaksh Likhi, participated with great enthusiasm in the ‘Run for Unity.’ The route took them from the premises of Krishi Bhawan to Hyderabad House, passing through Rajendra Prasad Road and Asoka Road.

The event commenced with the participants reciting the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge, reinforcing their commitment to uphold the unity, integrity, and internal security of our nation.
