In a recent statement, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed profound admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, attributing the significant reduction in poverty to Modi’s leadership. Dhami’s remarks underscored the pivotal role of Modi in orchestrating socio-economic progress, particularly in uplifting the impoverished sections of society.
Dhami stated, “Under the able leadership of respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 25 crore people have come out of poverty in the last 10 years.” This acknowledgment resonates with the narrative often championed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), emphasizing Modi’s transformative vision and governance.
“Highlighting the pro-people initiatives of the BJP government, Dhami reiterated the party’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the marginalized. He stressed, “The BJP government, known for its people-friendly policies, has consistently prioritized the welfare of the impoverished. By leveraging ‘Modi ji’s guarantee’, 25 crore individuals have triumphed over poverty.” This assertion reflects the ethos of BJP’s governance model, which prioritizes inclusive development and empowerment of the underprivileged”.
“Moreover, Dhami’s remarks serve to galvanize support for the BJP ahead of upcoming elections, leveraging Modi’s popularity as a catalyst for electoral success. By aligning himself with Modi’s agenda and accomplishments, Dhami seeks to bolster the party’s electoral prospects while reinforcing the narrative of BJP’s commitment to poverty alleviation and inclusive growth”.
