A trough aloft, positioned along Long. 74°E and north of Lat. 32°N characterizes the middle tropospheric levels associated with this disturbance.

  1. Expect light to moderate rainfall in specific areas of Tamil Nadu, with a broader impact on many places in Kerala and Mahe on the 18th. Subsequently, widespread rainfall is anticipated over Lakshadweep on the 18th and 19th of December.
