Hot shower- Run the water on cold for about 20 minutes before getting in.
Water- Take a few sips of water every 15 minutes. Treatment with low-grade fever medicine (decongestants) can make the infection worse or mask the symptoms of an infection by causing you to feel better. It causes severe stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea (stomach cramps).

How to Make a Homemade Cooler

No one wants to be stuck at home with a fever that just won’t budge. In fact, some people who aren’t feeling well will complain about it being too hot as if it’s their own fault. One of the easiest ways to help keep a fever from getting worse is by making a homemade ice pack. There are a couple of ways you can make homemade ice packs for the house. The citronella flower, which grows from a type of grass, contains a chemical called beta-citronellol that keeps mosquitoes away. To use the plant for fever relief, boil two cups of water. Pour the water over a bowl of dry flowers. Let it steep for three minutes and then place the bowl on your forehead to soothe a fever.

How to Make an Ice Pack

Ice Pack is a cold pack made from water and ice. It can be used to bring down the temperature of an injury or fever, as well as increase circulation. The ice pack can also be used for massage therapy. To make an ice pack, fill a plastic baggie with water and freeze it in the freezer for 1 hour or more.
