Vikrant Massey’s academic drama, “12th Fail,” showed promise during its opening weekend but experienced a slowdown on Monday, as anticipated. According to early estimates by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the Vidhu Vinod Chopra directorial collected ₹1.50 crore on Monday. As of now, the film has amassed ₹8.20 crore after four days of release.

Taran Adarsh, in a Twitter update, declared that “12th Fail” has emerged triumphant bypassing the critical Monday [Day 4] test, with much better performance compared to its opening day. The film has collected a total of ₹8.20 crore, with earnings of ₹1.10 crore on Friday, ₹2.50 crore on Saturday, ₹3.10 crore on Sunday, and ₹1.50 crore on Monday.

“12th Fail” is based on Anurag Pathak’s best-selling novel, depicting the remarkable journey of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma & IRS officer Shraddha Joshi. Vikrant Massey plays the lead role alongside Medha Shankar. The story revolves around the struggle of a small-town boy as he strives to crack the UPSC exam.
