The upcoming film ’72 Hoorain’ has been making headlines even before its release due to its controversial subject matter. The film’s makers decided to digitally release the gripping trailer. The trailer presents a disturbing representation of terrorism, shedding light on the process of brainwashing individuals into becoming terrorists.
A Disturbing Portrayal of Terrorism:
The trailer of ’72 Hoorain’ opens with a scene where a person is shown manipulating others, indoctrinating them into becoming terrorists. The dialogue explains the meaning of ‘Hoorain’ to certain individuals, stating, “Do you understand what Hoorain are? The virgins who remained untouched…not one, not two…72 Hoorain, 72 Hoorain.” Subsequently, the trailer features the sound of bomb blasts and gunfire, followed by visuals of lifeless bodies strewn around.
The Power of Brainwashing:
The trailer depicts the profound impact of brainwashing, as people are shown easily sacrifice their lives and taking the lives of innocent individuals without a second thought. The influence of radical ideology is portrayed as a potent force that can manipulate individuals to commit acts of terror.
Film Details and Release:
’72 Hoorain’ is directed by National Award winner Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan and features Pawan Malhotra and Aamir Bashir in prominent roles. The screenplay is written by Anil Pandey, while the film is co-produced by Gulab Singh Tanwar, Kiran Dagar, Anirudh Tanwar, and Ashok Pandit. Despite the controversy surrounding its content, the movie is slated for a theatrical release on July 7, 2023. As the release date approaches, the film continues to generate intense debate and anticipation.
