Born on July 30, 1990, Aakanksha Singh is an Indian actress best known for her work in Telugu and Hindi films. After starting her career in theatre, she made her acting debut with the television series Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha (2012–2013). ”Badrinath Ki Dulhania” (2017) was Singh’s film debut.
For her role in Malli Raava (2017), Aakanksha Singh received a SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Telugu nomination. After this, she earned success with the Telugu film Devadas (2018), Kannada film Pailwaan (2019), and Hindi film Runway 34 (2022). Aakanksha Singh has been part of web series including Rangbaaz: Darr Ki Rajneeti and Meet Cute.

Aakanksha Singh was born on 30 July 1990 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, to Dr. Gyan Prakash Singh & Renu Seth Singh, who is a theatre artist. She finished her schooling at Jaipur’s Ryan International School. Singh is a physiotherapist by education, having completed her graduation in Physical therapy.
Aakanksha Singh became engaged to her boyfriend Kunal Sain, a marketing professional, in July 2013. Sain and Singh were married in a traditional Marwari ceremony in Jaipur, Rajasthan on 7 December 2014.
