Sajid Nadiadwala, the mastermind behind the uproarious Housefull franchise, has once again sparked excitement among fans with the announcement of Abhishek Bachchan joining the ensemble cast for Housefull 5. Scheduled to commence filming in the UK in August 2024, this latest installment promises to deliver yet another riotous adventure, amplified by Bachchan’s impeccable comedic timing.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Nadiadwala remarked, “I am thrilled to bring back Abhishek to the Housefull franchise. His dedication, comic timing, and sincerity will only elevate our film.” Indeed, Bachchan’s return to the series is welcomed with open arms, as he shares, “Housefull holds a special place among my favorite comedy franchises, and returning to it feels like stepping back into a familiar and cherished space..”
The camaraderie between Nadiadwala and Bachchan is palpable, with the latter expressing his pleasure in working with the acclaimed producer once again. “It’s always been a great pleasure to work with Sajid Nadiadwala,” Bachchan reflects. “I eagerly anticipate enjoying uproarious moments on set alongside my co-stars Akshay and Ritesh.”
Housefull 5, helmed by Tarun Mansukhani, is poised to be one of the most ambitious ventures from a logistical standpoint, as it will be entirely shot on a cruise ship. This setting adds an intriguing dimension to the franchise, promising a fresh and dynamic backdrop for the comedic chaos to unfold. Set to be the first Hindi Cinema franchise to reach a fifth installment, Housefull 5 aims to raise the bar with its trademark hilarity and camaraderie between the stars.
