Ajay Devgn, known for his captivating performances, is set to reprise his role as IRS Officer Amay Patnaik in the sequel to his 2018 hit film, ‘Raid.’ Titled ‘Raid 2,’ the official announcement and commencement of filming were made recently, with a release date set for November 15, 2024.
Devgn’s Excitement
Ajay Devgn took to Twitter to share his enthusiasm about the project, describing the energy on set during the mahurat shot as “nothing short of electrifying.” Expressing gratitude to Ravi Teja for gracing the occasion, he revealed that ‘Raid 2’ is a “New Case, New Beginning.”

Raj Kumar Gupta, the director behind the success of the first ‘Raid,’ is once again at the helm for ‘Raid 2.’ The sequel is currently in production and is a joint venture backed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak under T-Series and Panorama Studios banners.

The sequel promises to deliver the same intensity and gripping narrative that made ‘Raid’ a success. Fans can look forward to witnessing Ajay Devgn’s powerful portrayal of Amay Patnaik as he takes on a new case in ‘Raid 2.’ The film is scheduled to hit cinemas on November 15, 2024, offering an exciting cinematic experience.
