Akshardham Temple Delhi is an Indian ancient temple dedicated to the Hindu deity Lord Vishnu. It is situated in the northern part of New Delhi, India and is one of the world’s largest religious complexes, covering an area of 5.6 hectares (14 acres). Akshardham Temple Delhi is an ancient temple in India. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu deity Swaminarayan, and was constructed by one of his followers, Prahladanand Swami. The temple was designed by Vastu Shastra and has been described as “one of the most beautiful temples in India.” The current construction of the temple was completed in 2005 after 10 years of planning and construction.

The Akshardham Temple is a famous Hindu temple in Delhi, India. It was established in 1984 and is one of the most visited places for spiritual tourism in the country. The temple has an annual footfall of around 60 million people and is designed in such a way that it can be seen from all sides of the city, making it one of the largest Hindu temples in the world.
The most popular prayer time at this temple is at 6:00am to 7:00am. This temple serves as a place of worship and spiritual education. Akshardham is devoted to the memories of Swaminarayan, founder of the Swaminarayan sect. The temple is dedicated to the sacred Hindu texts “Vachanamrut”, “Akshardham Shikshapatri” and other texts. The temple is managed by the Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad (ABAP), which is an association of Muni-sants, or celibate monks and sadhus.
Akshardham Musical Fountain
The Musical Fountain at Akshardham is a must see for all visitors to the temple. It provides a mesmerizing experience and is worth watching from the beginning of the evening until the end of it. Akshardham Temple is a Hindu temple in Delhi, India. It is the largest Hindu temple after the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The history of this temple dates back to ancient times and it has been reconstructed several times since then. Akshardham Temple Delhi is located at bank of Yamuna river Delhi near to Olympic stadium Delhi. Akshardham means ‘Temple of the Almighty Lord’. The temple is dedicated to Swaminarayan. This temple complex can accommodate around 10,000 people at a time. It also features a musical fountain that comprises 28 fountains arranged into six different tiers.
Exhibition at Akshardham Temple
Delhi’s Akshardham Temple is open from the hours of 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on all days except for Monday when it is closed. Visitors can enter through the South Gate and exit through the North Gate where they will have access to all the amenities inside this complex including restaurants, book stalls, souvenir shops, and more. The ticket price for adults is only Rs. 175 per person while children under the age of six are allowed in free of charge with an adult accompanying them at any point during their visit.
