Actor Akshay Kumar has made waves yet again, this time with a big announcement on his X account (formerly Twitter). The Bollywood superstar revealed his entry into the Telugu film industry with the upcoming movie “Kannappa”. In a video shared on social media, Kumar expressed his excitement about venturing into the Telugu cinema world.
The announcement came after a meeting between Akshay Kumar and prominent Telugu actors and producers Vishnu Manchu and Mohan Babu. Vishnu Manchu, in a tweet, welcomed Kumar to the Telugu film fraternity, adding more excitement to the project. He expressed his thrill at having Akshay Kumar on board for “Kannappa”, promising audiences an unforgettable cinematic experience.
In response, Akshay Kumar conveyed his gratitude to Vishnu Manchu for the warm welcome and for inviting him to be a part of the “Kannappa” journey. He added a touch of reverence with the phrase “Jai Mahakaal”, signifying his respect and enthusiasm for the project.
Akshay Kumar’s Projects
While fans eagerly await Akshay Kumar’s debut in Telugu cinema, the actor continues to be busy with a slew of upcoming projects in Bollywood. Following the success of his recent release “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” alongside Tiger Shroff, Kumar has an exciting lineup of films, including “Singham Again”, “Sky Force”, and “Welcome To The Jungle”.
Moreover, Kumar is set to portray the iconic role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the Marathi film “Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat”. Additionally, he recently announced his involvement in “Sarfira”, a Hindi remake of the acclaimed Tamil film Soorarai Pottru. Fans can also look forward to Kumar reprising his beloved character Raju in the much-anticipated “Hera Pheri 3”.
With his versatile roles and dedication to entertaining audiences, Akshay Kumar’s foray into Telugu cinema is sure to be met with great anticipation and excitement from fans across the country.
