On the occasion of the CRPF Day celebration in Jagdalpur, Chattisgarh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah appreciates brave CRPF personnel who have been relentlessly working towards ensuring the safety and security of the nation. He lauded the efforts of the CRPF and said, “The @crpfindia has etched its name in history by setting new benchmarks in internal security while steadfastly adhering to the motto of Service and Loyalty”.
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is one of the largest paramilitary forces in the world, with over 300,000 personnel dedicated to protecting the country’s internal security. Over the years, the CRPF has played a vital role in countering terrorism, insurgency, and left-wing extremism in the country.
During the event, Amit Shah presented gallantry awards and medals to the brave CRPF personnel who have demonstrated exceptional bravery and courage in the line of duty. He also inaugurated the newly constructed buildings of the CRPF Group Centre and the Composite Hospital in Jagdalpur.
In his address, Amit Shah highlighted the challenges faced by the CRPF personnel in their day-to-day duties and commended them for their unwavering dedication to protecting the nation. He stressed the need for modernization of the CRPF to equip them with the latest technology and equipment to tackle evolving threats effectively.
The CRPF Day celebration is an annual event that commemorates the bravery and sacrifice of the CRPF personnel who have laid down their lives in the line of duty. It is an occasion to recognize and honor the tireless efforts of the CRPF personnel in safeguarding the country’s internal security.
