Union Home Minister paid tribute to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on his birth anniversary in Birbhum, West Bengal. Shah highlighted Ambedkar’s efforts to create a constitution that provides justice, equality, and freedom to every citizen and praised his mission to kindle the spark within every Indian.
In his tribute, Shah said, “Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar aimed to ignite the flame within every Indian, with the intention of illuminating the nation. He labored to create a constitution that provides justice, equality, and freedom to every citizen.” Shah further added that Ambedkar’s efforts to empower the marginalized sections of society through his work as a jurist, economist, and social reformer have left an indelible mark on the nation’s history.
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the father of the Indian Constitution, was born on April 14, 1891. He was a pioneer in the movement for social justice and worked tirelessly towards creating a society based on the principles of equality, freedom, and justice for all. He played a crucial part in drafting the Indian Constitution and served as the initial Law Minister of independent India.
Ambedkar’s mission to kindle the spark within every Indian was a call to awaken the citizens of India to their true potential. He believed that the empowerment of the marginalized sections of society would be possible only through education, and therefore, he worked towards providing education to all sections of society. He emphasized that the key to building a strong and prosperous nation was to empower its citizens and make them self-reliant.
Ambedkar’s contribution to India’s Constitution is immense. He worked tirelessly to create a constitution that provided for the protection of individual rights, social justice, and equality. The Indian Constitution is one of the most comprehensive and progressive constitutions in the world and is a testament to Ambedkar’s vision of a just and equal society.
