On the 21st of February Amit Shah, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation extended his wishes to the countrymen on the occasion of International Mother Language Day.
The Union Home Minister wished everyone well on International Mother Language Day via his tweets. He declared that this was the day to take a resolution to strengthen our connection with our mother tongue and help it become more prosperous. Only when a person makes his mother tongue prosperous will all the languages of the country be prosperous and the country itself will be prosperous. Let us pledge to make the most of our mother tongue.
Shri Amit Shah asserted that utilizing one’s mother tongue for reading, speaking, and thinking sharpens the capacity to contemplate, reason, dissect, and investigate. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Government has given the emphasis on education in the mother tongue through the ‘New Education Policy’, keeping this in mind. India’s bright future will be built upon this.
