‘Bigg Boss 17’, the enthralling reality show hosted by Salman Khan, has finally concluded its nearly four-month-long journey. Premiering on October 16, 2023, the show wrapped up on January 28, 2024, with Munawar Faruqui emerging as the winner. Abhishek Kumar and Mannara Chopra followed as the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Ankita Lokhande was evicted just before the finale.
ANKITA LOKHANDE EVICTED FROM ‘BIGG BOSS 17’
In a surprising turn of events, Ankita Lokhande, a top contender in the show, was evicted. Her eviction was unexpected, leaving her husband Vicky Jain, and host Salman Khan in disbelief. Salman expressed his shock, saying, “I am shocked. I thought you would become the winner. I am shocked that you are not. I don’t know what has happened that you have come out of the house. The whole team is shocked.” Ankita’s sister-in-law was moved to tears, and Ankita herself was at a loss for words, only managing to express her happiness at being reunited with her mother.

Ankita Lokhande entered the ‘Bigg Boss 17’ house with her husband, Vicky Jain, and quickly became a fan favorite. Known for her roles in popular TV shows, she revealed a different side to the audience. Her journey was marked by several ups and downs, including arguments with Vicky. This portrayal of their real-life struggles resonated with viewers, garnering significant support.
Despite the challenges and Vicky’s earlier elimination, Ankita remained strong. However, it was the emotional words from Vicky’s mother, Ranjana Jain, that truly connected her with the audience, earning their empathy and votes. Nonetheless, her journey ended just short of the finale, making her exit one of the most talked-about moments of the season.
‘Bigg Boss 17’ has been a season of unexpected twists and turns, and with Ankita Lokhande’s eviction, it proved yet again why it remains one of the most captivating reality shows on Indian television.
