The Tamil film ‘Vikram’ by Kamal Haasan has had a legendary run at the box office. Lokesh Kangaraj directed the film with Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil, and Vijay Sethupathi in prominent roles.
The film has grossed around 432 crore rupees at the box office worldwide. Around 307 crore rupees have been collected at the domestic box office itself out of this. The film has broken nearly every box office record in the Kollywood film industry since its release in June this year.”Baahubali: The Conclusion” was beaten in the state of Tamil Nadu by a significant margin of 40 crore rupees.
In South India, the film did best in Tamil Nadu, earning Rs 142 crores, followed by Andhra Pradesh and Telangana with Rs 42.60 crores, Karnataka with Rs 25.40 crores, Kerala with Rs 40.50 crores, and the rest of India with Rs 17.30 crores.
